Group Counseling

You Don't Have to Face Life's Challenges Alone

This is a great time to take advantage of the unlimited counseling sessions offered in Groups.

In an effort to better serve you, we are offering group counseling to DePaul students.  Without compromising your privacy, you can learn more about yourself and gain support from others.  All are welcome to take advantage of this opportunity regardless of race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, disability or ethnicity; and we are committed to providing you with the best services possible. A variety of groups are offered at both the Lincoln Park Campus and the Loop Campus for students who may be struggling with specific issues (e.g. grief/loss, self-esteem), or would like to understand more about how they tend to relate to others in general.  Group counseling can be particularly effective for a broad array of concerns.  It not only offers students an opportunity to get support and feedback from others, but also to learn more about themselves in a unique and stimulating way.

Be on the lookout for these and other groups that will be forming throughout the school year:

This group is for students who would like to better understand & improve the quality of their relationships - with friends, family, & significant others. Also included is the relationship with one’s self and the group can be helpful in struggles with depression, anxiety, and self-worth. Three relationships groups are offered to better meet the scheduling needs of students.
