Student Centers Department
The Student Centers are looked to as DePaul's gathering places. By providing amenities and services to promote out of classroom interaction between students, faculty and staff, we become the main streets of DePaul, inviting the community into our welcoming and comfortable environments. Students are free to gather with others, indulge in a variety of dining experiences, meet new friends, and join others through the vast number of student groups and gathering places in the facilities.

- The Student Manager will work closely with the Operations Manager(s), and other Managers/Directors within the Student Centers Department in completing various administrative and operation tasks during operating hours within the Student Center, Cortelyou Commons, DePaul Center 11th Floor, and the Quad. They will also help to ensure that these areas runs as smooth as possible along with supervision of other student staff.

- Crew

- Student Centers Crew will handle all event set-ups within the Student Center, Cortelyou Commons, DePaul Center 11th Floor, Quad, and Munroe Conference Rooms. Crew will work closely with the Operations Manager(s) and Student Managers to ensure that the daily and major events in the building run in a smooth fashion. Crew will also work with other Managers/Directors within the Student Centers Department as needed.

- On-Call Crew

- When special circumstances dictate the need for additional labor, the Operations Manager(s) will request the assistance of the on-call crew in filling this need. This staff may be called to assist at anytime during the week, though they have the option of picking up or refusing hours when they have prior commitments but must work on a consistent basis. Hours will vary depending on the number of events in the Student Center, Cortelyou Commons, DePaul Center 11th Floor, Quad, and Munroe Conference Rooms.

- Information Desk

- The information desk will handle most of the basic inquiries about the University. They should be able to act as a liaison for the University, departments in the Student Center, and departments across campus by offering information about: phone numbers, what departments offer, and events in the Student Center, Cortelyou Commons, DePaul Center 11th Floor, Quad, Munroe Conference Rooms, and other places around campus. The Info Desk staff should also be able to assist the Info Desk Manager, Assistant Director, Operations Manager(s), and other Managers/Directors within the Student Centers department when needed.

- Audio/Visual Service Aide (AV Crew)

- When events in the Student Center, Cortelyou Commons, Munroe Conference Rooms, and DPC 11th Floor require the need for Audio Visuals, the Audio/Visual Service Staff will setupand breakdown a wide variety of multimedia equipment in offices, meeting rooms, conference rooms. They will provide users with instruction on equipment use and assist with specialevents. The A/V Aide will also work with other Managers/Directors within the Student Centers Department as needed. Hours will be flexible on an as needed basis.
