DE PAUL EDUCATION PROGRAM (CO-OP)

DePaul's Co-op Program is helping to place DePaul undergraduates in YEAR LONG, PAID, part-time internships which are directly related to students’ academic majors and professional goals. Co-op students benefit from the program by receiving academic credit and fulfilling their Junior Year Experiential Learning Requirement.  Students also have their Co-op Work placement indicated on their official DePaul transcript, gain 1-3 years of professional experience before graduating, and receiving ongoing feedback from their Co-op Supervisor and the Assistant Director of the Co-op Program.

MAGID GLOVE & SAFETY INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY

* $12/hr and Training will be available*

Magid Glove & Safety, America's leading manufacturer, distributor and importer of hand protection and safety products seeks a Finance Intern.  As an Intern in Manufacturing, you will get hands on experience on the operations of a manufacturing plant. You will learn the costing and production process and be able to evaluate the areas of improvement. This position will give you the opportunity to help implement lean manufacturing.

Key Qualifications:
 Prior Business classes
Ability to run reports and analyze data
Computer proficiency required, create and manipulate Excel spreadsheets
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to follow detailed procedure with minimal supervision

MAGID GLOVE & SAFETY TRAINING OPPORTUNITY

Entry Level Job w/Structured Training Program

Responsibilities Include:

· Work with various departments- CS, Purchasing, Field Sales

· Coordinate samples and prices for bids

· Compile date, run auto reports, and analyze data

· Prepare documents and Power Point Presentations

· Bring in new business opportunities

· Present business reviews to customers

· Assist customers with contract maintenance

Requirements:

Only local candidates that meet the following requirements should apply:

· College Degree or comparable experience

· Write routine reports and correspondence.

· Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization. 

· Calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, volume, etc.

· Ability to be Intermediate to expert user of Excel

· Travel: 1 to 2 days per quarter on average; some overnights
