Welcome to "LEAD-In!"

The "LEAD-In!" (Leadership Exploration At DePaul for Involvement) program is designed to introduce new students to leadership opportunities and to help them build the awareness, skills, and relationships needed to serve as leaders at DePaul. If you are a new student interested in getting involved with the DePaul campus community, take a look at the LEAD-In! program - the over 100 students actively participating in LEAD-In! events are proof that our program is opening doors for future leaders!

What are the benefits?

Through fun and interactive workshops and group activities participants will:

  • Discover more about themselves and others
  • Build basic leadership skills
  • Learn how to build relationships across cross cultural and ethnic boundaries
  • Explore values and ethics
  • Network with established DePaul leaders
  • Receive first-hand information about leadership opportunities
  • Get connected to SLI programs and start earning credits toward your Leadership Development Certificate (optional)
  • Engage in conversations with others who want to positively impact the DePaul community
What’s the time commitment?

LEAD-In! is a six-week commitment that begins the third week of fall quarter – 1 workshop a week for 6 weeks, with a closing celebration. Participants must attend all six workshops. Students register for this program and will choose to attend either the “Tuesday night” or “Wednesday night” option. Each week is lead by a DePaul student leader and will consist of activities and discussions about involvement, leadership and DePaul.

How do I register?

The Lead-In! Program has reached its capacity for the 2009-2010 academic year. Registration forms are no longer being accepted.
