The Student Leadership Institute (SLI) at DePaul University is the university's response to students' requests to learn the principles and techniques of effective leadership. SLI is a nationally recognized leadership program that is free to all DePaul students.
SLI workshops/programs encourage students:
- To study and apply values based leadership concepts.
- To identify and develop personalized leadership styles.
- To learn effective leadership skills.
- To enhance their managements skills.
- To understand ethical /moral responsibilities of leaders.
- To learn to lead in diverse, multicultural settings.
- To better market their leadership experiences to employers.
- To develop and support mentor-mentee relationships.
