Welcome to the DePaul community. The Student Leadership Institute (SLI) is deeply committed to providing the best possible leadership training for DePaul University students. With a co-curricular, diverse and community based relational leadership model as our central focus, students will acquire and develop leadership skills they can use within various professional and organizational settings.

SLI provides leadership training through a certificate program, a "LEAD-In!" program for freshmen/new students, customized workshops, and department training. Workshops are facilitated by highly skilled staff and faculty members. These facilitators apply leadership models in the workforce as a part of their daily lives.

In addition to its training component, the Student Leadership Institute serves as a networking tool for students seeking to build professional, organizational, and personal relationships within and outside of DePaul. It does this through networking, collaboration with other offices, and an opportunity to develop mentor relationships.
