Being a part of the DePaul residential community is a privilege. As with all privileges come responsibility. In our community there are standards to which each member is held responsible. Specific standards may be found in the Guide to Student Housing and the University’s Code of Student Responsibility. All students should become familiar with these two documents and are responsible for their content. Links to these documents are located below.

Students
should also be aware of our
Posting Policy.
This policy governs displays and advertisements in the
residence halls.
Students who are documented for an alleged policy violation have the option of having their case heard by an administrative hearing officer (typically a residence director) or a judicial board comprised of members of the DePaul University community.
If a student fails to schedule a hearing or fails to attend a scheduled hearing a decision regarding the case may be made without the student. The hearing officer or judicial board will then use the information available at the time to make a decision about the case. Any sanctions imposed as a result of this decision will be binding.
