Become a Member of the Residence Hall Judicial Board
Within the student conduct process, residents within campus housing have the option
to have their case heard by a panel of peers. This panel consists of students from
the residence hall community. They are empowered to determine the facts and outcome
of the case as well as sanctions as deemed appropriate. If you are a resident student
interested in becoming a member of the Residence Hall Judicial Board, please contact
edarrell@depaul.edu for application information or visit
http://studentaffairs.depaul.edu/resed/judicialboard.html.
Of The Month Awards (OTMs)
Sponsored by Residence Hall Council, these awards are given each month for a number of categories. A few of the categories include; Resident Advisor, Educational Program, Student, and Social Program. These awards provide an opportunity for you to recognize people or programs that are happening in the Residence Halls. They are easy to do, a great way to practice your writing skills, and can really make someone's day!
If you would like to submit an OTM, go to http://otms.nrhh.org/ and select the "General Category" or "Program Category" link under the heading that says "Submit OTMS". Once you click on this link, a drop down menu should appear asking you to select your University. Select DePaul University, and click submit. The OTM form will then appear. Complete this form, and then click submit OTM, and you are finished! OTMs will be judged and awarded each month. They are due on the 10th of each month for the previous month (ex: August OTM nominations are due on September 10th).
