Current Residents

Residential Education offers its own forms of involvement, which you can learn more about from this page. From our Residence Hall Council, where students can take a leadership role in their hall and floor communities, to becoming a member of the Residence Hall Judicial Board, and learning more about the judicial process at DePaul, there's something for all students.

Complete a Roommate Agreement

Upon moving into your room, you will receive a Roommate Agreement as well as a guide to completing the agreement. Your RA will contact you and your roommate(s) to set up a time to go through the agreement together to set expectations for your room.

Get Connected on OrgSync

OrgSync is a system that provides students with a way to keep track of all the organizations in which you're involved - all in one place! You have access to:

  • A community page, with information from all across DePaul.

  • A calendar function that organizes all of your different organizational dates onto one.

  • Access to forms and documents relevant to your membership groups.

  • Join groups like student organizations as well as your residence hall.

Become a Member of the Residence Hall Judicial Board

Within the student conduct process, residents within campus housing have the option to have their case heard by a panel of peers. This panel consists of students from the residence hall community. They are empowered to determine the facts and outcome of the case as well as sanctions as deemed appropriate. If you are a resident student interested in becoming a member of the Residence Hall Judicial Board, please contact edarrell@depaul.edu for application information or visit http://studentaffairs.depaul.edu/resed/judicialboard.html.

Residence Hall Council (RHC) - website
The Residence Hall Council (RHC) is a student organization that serves as a liaison between residential students and DePaul University's administration. We are one of the largest programming organizations on campus and annually plan a number of celebrated events.

Residence Hall Council represents all students living on campus. With Hall Representatives from each hall and a very active executive board, RHC is one of the best known and most distinguished organizations on campus. We strive to enrich the lives of students and to help them feel comfortable in the DePaul community. Our goal is simple: "We make DePaul home."

Of The Month Awards (OTMs)
Sponsored by Residence Hall Council, these awards are given each month for a number of categories. These awards provide an opportunity for you to recognize people or programs that are happening in the Residence Halls. They are easy to do, a great way to practice your writing skills, and can really make someone's day!
