Within the student conduct process, residents in campus housing have the option to have their case heard by an administrative hearing officer. Administrative hearing officers are typically residence directors, but they may be other staff or faculty members at the University when appropriate. Administrative hearing officers are empowered to determine the facts and outcome of a case and impose sanctions they deem appropriate.
