Res Ed by the Numbers
Our Staff:
- 57 Resident Advisors (RAs), undergraduate students who live in our halls to facilitate community
- 6 Residence Directors (RDs), full-time professional staff also live in the halls
- 127 students applied to become an RA for the 2013 – 2014 academic year
- 27 RAs returning to the position for a second or third year
Our Students:
- 19,500 attendees to Residential Education events and programs in Fall and Winter Quarters this year
- 753 residential students with a 3.75 or higher GPA after Fall Quarter this year
- 649 students completed our annual Quality of Life survey, where feedback about the residential experience is collected.
- 28% decrease in the number of residents documented for alleged policy violations from Winter Quarter 2012 to Winter Quarter 2013
Our Department:
- 11 professional staff members, including RDs
- 1 Graduate Assistant, who works with the apartment communities on campus
- 449 educational events/programs offered to students in Fall and Winter Quarter this year
