www.collegezone.com - Site belongs to Illinois state scholarship commission, lots of tips to guide elementary and high school students.

Hispanic Heritage Award - The Youth Awards program offers educational grants to Hispanic high school seniors at ceremonies held in 12 regions: Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Philadelphia, Phoenix, San Antonio, San Diego, Northern California and greater Washington D.C. The Hispanic Heritage Awards Foundation offers regional and national awards in seven categories. You may apply for more than one award category.  Academic Excellence, Arts & Entertainment, Community Service, Engineering & Mathematics, Healthcare, Journalism, Sports.

MIT Summer Program for High School Girls 
The Women's Technology Program at MIT is a 4-week summer residence program to introduce high schoolgirls to electrical engineering and computer science. If you know a girl who is currently a high school junior with demonstrated math and science ability and an interest in finding out about EECS, please encourage her to visit our website for more Information and for an application form.

Parents, Families & Friends of Lesbians & Gays (PFLAG) National Scholarships Program - Parents, Families, and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG) is a national organization of approximately 250,000 families organized in 500 chapters across the nation, with a presence in every State of the Union, and in the territory of Puerto Rico. It is a family-based organization of caring people from all walks of life working together for the benefit of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender (LGBT) communities. PFLAG recently received a bequest from a former resident of the State of Nevada establishing an educational trust fund, and is pleased to announce the inauguration of an important, new, national scholarship program. PFLAG is also grateful to The Dow Chemical Company for providing additional funds for the program. The PFLAG National Scholarships Program offers nine scholarships of $2,500, and fourteen scholarships of $1,000.

2003-2004 DePaul Alliance for Latino Empowerment Scholarship Fund

The DePaul Alliance for Latino Empowerment (D.A.L.E.), DePaul University's Latino Interest Student Organization, is proud to announce the formation of the 2003-2004 D.A.L.E. Scholarship Fund. Two $500 scholarships will be awarded to graduating Chicago area High School Seniors, with significant contributions to the Latino community, in search of higher education. Complete applications must be postmarked by May 26, 2004. Further requirements are detailed in the application. For further information, please email dale@condor.depaul.edu.
