Pastoral Care
NAVIGATION

University Ministry serves as the primary institutional body responsible for providing Pastoral Care to the DePaul Community. The department of University Ministry is made up of trained and experienced men and women who attend to the needs of students, faculty, and staff here at De Paul. The department of University Ministry here at De Paul defines pastoral care as that personal attention which is given to the faith life of an individual, their relationships, and many other concerns that arise in their life.

With the coordination of the Chaplain for Spiritual Life and Pastoral Care, the chaplains and other staff of University Ministry will be the principle agents of this care. Currently, our Pastoral Care Program includes the following protocols.

Spiritual Direction:
Looking for a spiritual mentor to connect with? Searching for a deeper connection to your faith? Want to talk with a trained minister, lay or ordained? University Ministry can connected you with someone to discuss your faith in a comfortable and inviting setting. Contact Fr. Christopher Robinson for more information.

Prayer Requests:
Specific prayer requests may be submitted to University Ministry by any member of our DePaul Community. During your time here at De Paul if you have any special needs or intentions, please contact the Chaplain for Spiritual Life & Pastoral Care. Those prayer requests will be remembered daily. Contact: Fr. Christopher Robinson (crobinso@depaul.edu)

Special Liturgies:
Members of the DePaul community gather for many occasions, such as memorial liturgies and special services. For more information about planning and scheduling special liturgies at DePaul, please contact Matt Merkt at mmerkt@depaul.edu
