Who We Are:
The mission of the International
Student Office (ISO) is to provide high quality support service to its international clientele; promote mutual understanding, respect, and friendship across the broad spectrum of cultural backgrounds and values represented by all members of the university.
What We Do:
The ISO provides expert advising services to international students and visiting faculty from more than 100 nations concerning their non-immigrant legal status in the United States. The ISO also offers logistical support services, including orientation programs, administrative support, housing assistance, employment assistance and social/cultural programming.

OPT and CPT
Sessions- information sessions held to assist students in applying for permission to work off campus.

Orientation- every international student who is new to DePaul University and has been issued
a SEVIS I-20 or a SEVIS
DS-2019 MUST attend an orientation session. This includes students who are transferring from another university.

Travel Advising Session-
designed to inform international students of the process of successful re-entry to the U.S. after a trip abroad

Open Advising- walk-in hours available every day at different hours to accommodate students who have quick questions
|
 |
SEVIS Information Sessions- designed to update international students of changing
Immigration regulations regarding lawful stay in the U.S.
|
 |
Special Registration- designed to update international students subject to special
BCIS registration
