Community Resources

MISSION:

The Community Resource Specialist’s Mission is to advocate for students who encounter situations that may impede their academic success. This office strives to enhance the University’s network of community partners to ensure effective and appropriate responses to student needs. The office offers a full range of case management services with an emphasis on skill building and empowerment in order to create a seamless transition for at risk students. The Community Resource Specialist builds stronger linkages and relationships with external partners for student success. Off campus affordable housing, mental health, medical, dental, and LGBTQ support are among the many resources available through this office.
