MISSION:
The Community
Resource Specialist’s Mission is to advocate for
students who encounter situations that may
impede their academic success. This office
strives to enhance the University’s network of
community partners to ensure effective and
appropriate responses to student needs. The
office offers a full range of case management
services with an emphasis on skill building and
empowerment in order to create a seamless
transition for at risk students. The Community
Resource Specialist builds stronger linkages and
relationships with external partners for student
