Mission
The Cultural Center uses artistic expression and intellectual
inquiry to engage students, faculty and staff in transformative
cultural educational experiences that create common cultural
understandings, values and practices. The programs and services
provided by the Cultural Center seek to strengthen the
University’s Catholic, Vincentian and urban mission in support
of social justice within the DePaul community.
The Cultural Center will
facilitate programs and services that enable DePaul University
students, faculty and staff to think broadly and critically
about cultural identity and adopt strategies to confront systems
that do not recognize the dignity of the individual.
