Community Service

Inspired by the example of St. Vincent de Paul, University Ministry Community Service seeks to empower students to promote the inherent human dignity of all people, especially marginalized communities, by educating students to cultivate relationships rooted in service, faith, and justice.

University wide Service Days

Vincentian Service Day takes place on the first Saturday of May bringing together 1,000 volunteers from the University to serve DePaul's community partners. The day begins with a welcome breakfast, followed by 5 hours of service at over 25 sites, and concludes with a celebration picnic at the Lincoln Park Quad.
