The city of Chicago will always be the Second City to its residents, even though it is the third largest city in America. As an urban institution, DePaul University values its many partnerships with the city.
CITY AND COMMUTER SERVICES
Almost ninety percent of our students commute to campus each day. The Office of Student Life’s Commuter Programs and Services has a great deal
of resources to help these students.
Getting to Campus
Our six campuses are easy to get to by car or public transportation (Directions). Information on routes and other mass transit services can be
found at www.transitchicago.com and www.metrarail.com.
Other City and Commuter Services
Information regarding business licenses, passports, parking and city stickers can be found
at the City Clerk’s office.
Information about legal assistance in the city can be found at the Legal Assistance Foundation of Chicago, Metropolitan Family Services, and C.A.R.P.L.S..
DePaul does not currently provide daycare. A great alternative resource for childcare information is the Day Care Action Council of Illinois.
