Career transition and advancement are the two main reasons that most adult students attend college.

CAREER CENTER

The Career Center recognizes this trend and offers a variety of services to you. They have resources to help you investigate different careers in your major area, prepare for all aspects of the job search process including negotiating compensation, and secure on-campus and off-campus employment.

The Career Center offers a Career Changers Forum twice a year. You can use the eRecruiting system to register for this event and other opportunities that will help you at each phase of your career development process.

The Alumni Sharing Knowledge Volunteer Network (ASK) is another great resource for adult students. You can access the wealth of information about careers from our alumni who offer their time and resources to current students.

Suburban students can schedule an appointment with a suburban career counselor.
