The Office of Adult Student Affairs is committed to serving the needs of adult students.
ADULT STUDENTS are defined as undergraduate students who are 24+ years
of age and all graduate and professional students.
The primary function of
our office is advocacy, which means that we help you gain a voice
in decisions that impact you. We will also provide
opportunities for you to become engaged at the university in
meaningful and productive ways which will ultimately expose the talent among you
and help you make a difference in your educational experience
and the experiences of others at DePaul. We recognize the dedication and sacrifice
that many of you have made to pursue your academic goals and we hope that we can be
a partner in your academic journey.
Mission
Adult Student Affairs assists adult students in their transition
to college and supports them in achieving their educational goals. By
collaborating with key university and external partners, it provides
services, resources and programs that address the specific needs of this student
population. The office also works to create an environment that encourages and
nurtures adult student engagement in campus life.
