Mission
of Athletic Academic Advising
The AAA program is committed to providing informed, competent,
and holistic advising that assists student-athletes in
accomplishing their educational, career and life objectives.
The primary responsibility of AAA is to cultivate and
enhance student-athletes’ opportunities for academic success
as well as their development as the total
“student-athlete”.
AAA creates and maintains a supportive environment
where individual differences are appreciated and each person
is respected. The best interest of student - athletes is the foundation
of policies, procedures and programs.

Over half of DePaul's student-athletes appear on the Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll annually.
In 2003, 14 student-athletes were awarded the Conference USA Academic Medal of Honor for maintaining a GPA of 3.75 or
greater.
Three DePaul Softball student-athletes were named to the Academic All-District V list which qualifies them as nominees for Academic All-America.
Student-athlete log approximately 3,000 hours annually of community service in and around the Chicagoland
area.
Approximately 50% of all student-athletes appear on the Dean's list each quarter. |
